Demondrae writes about his second disc: Songs of a Wayfarer pays homage to some of the songs which have influenced my playing over the years. “Deep River” and “Motherless Child” I heard quite often as a child while La Bohème was the first opera that moved me to tears. Music from The Pearl Fishers by Bizet was what I played first with Martha and “Je crois entendre” moves my wife in a profound way. It has always been my opinion that singing is the most natural way to express yourself musically so I hope that you will hear the expression in this music just as I heard it in my mind and then delivered with all my heart and soul.
