Participant Quotes
"In my 16 years of playing tuba, I have never been more motivated than I have in the last few days at the Sotto Voce Symposium. The musicianship, camaraderie, and overall development of each student and ensemble exceeded my highest expectations. I am glad to have been a part of this and would recommend this to any tuba or euphonium player that wants to play at their highest level."
Andy Smith, DMA-Candidate
University of North Carolina at Greensboro
"During the Miraphone Academy, I noticed a great improvement, by just the end of the second day, in my playing. I've become more confident while playing in smaller chamber group and taking charge. This experience has also helped me out in being a music educator. Just overall, it's a wonderful experience."
Mike Robinson, Senior
University of North Carolina at Greensboro
"I am extremely grateful to Sotto Voce for presenting a symposium that was simultaneously informative, challenging, and very fun. I know that myself and my quartet-mates experienced tremendous growth as musicians and as ensemble players. I recommend attendance for any musician that is serious about achieving the highest standard of music for any ensemble."
